Purchased by Nigel Slatford on 31st May, 2003 following a close fight on eBay. The Pearl had beenowned and used for many years by a Mrs. Janet Kinnear living in Monks Eleigh, Suffolk, Mrs. Kinnear used it as day to day transport and to carry her easel and painting equipment around whilst indulging in her passion as an artist.
Previously this Pearl had been the prize in a raffle organised by PENNY WISE MOTORING WEEKLY in July 1970 held at Woburn Abbey. The outcome of this raffle is unfortunately not known but the article from Penny Wise can be seen in the picture below.
The car is now being very gradually restored, the enjoyment of driving and entering it into various events is taking priority at the moment.
